Just wondering, has anyone ask where the captains quarters are located? Are they at the back or the bridge or what. I was looking at some bridge pictures and it looked as if there were rooms at the back of the bridge. Is it a stateroom with an office or what?? Just curious. I can only assume these are strickly off limits to passengers and they never show up on any maps I have ever seen...smjj

Snicker-snicker. Any Sponge Bob fans here? My girls love that show. They use the term "captain's quarters" occasionally to describe one's rear end, and my girls have picked it up.

For example, they might say (when Sponge Bob was caught on a fisherman's hook) "It's got me in the captain's quarters!"

Okay, that was changing the subject.

In all of the hundreds of episodes I've had to sit through, this one has totally gotten by me!! My DD8 favorite term is "oh, barnicles" though.

smjj, sorry I didn't answer your question. I've got no idea on that one

Cute! My DD7's favorite sayings are "Oh barnacles!" and "Tartar Sauce!" Cracks me up!

Sorry, I don't know anything about captain's quarters either!

Just a bump. I am really curious on this question..smjj
