Captains Grille

Does anyone have any thoughts on this restaurant. We booked our trip extremely last minute & we're happy to take what we could but now I have an extra TS & trying to decide whether to cancel Captains Grille for dinner or Ohanas for breakfast. We are travelling w/ our DD who is almost 2.

Considering your daughter is 2 I think she may enjoy Ohana's breakfast better. I am pretty sure it has characters.

Definitely Ohana breakfast. The character interaction is terrific. Stitich is a riot.

Definitely keep 'Ohana. It is now my favorite breakfast on property!

Captain's Grille was okay, the food was pretty tasty but the atmosphere was boring at best.

We were just at Beach club at easter and had a last minute meal at Captains Grill. I would never go back. I am not a fussy eater, but no one in my party enjoyed the meal...

Keep Ohana! It's one of the best restaurants. Especially for kids who would love a character breakfast! On the other hand, Captain's Grille hasn't gotten such great reviews. I'd probably eat there if I wasn't on vacation and it was just somewhere to grab a bite, but Ohana will make the meal special. It wouldn't even be a question for me You'll love Ohana!

Thanks folks! We are canceling our CG reservation. It was for our arrival day anyways, so we are going to eat a large lunch off property before we check in & then just grab something small in DTD.

We have had breakfast there twice and do not like it at all but dinner there is very very good. Had the best pork chop of my life there and the cheese rolls and the salads are fantastic

Thought I would share our experience at CG. We had dinner there on our last night at Disney in April. It was by far the worst meal we have ever had at WDW and we have been there every year for the last 14 yrs.The food was so bad it was unedible and the waitress we had was terrible. She was not friendly and not interested in pleasing us at all. Needless to say we will never go back and I cannot say that about any other Disney restaurant. We have had iffy meals in the past but are always willing to give a place another shot. Our experience at CG was a so bad they did not deserve a second chance. We were so dissapointed we just left, did not even speak with management as we only had a few hours left of vacation and wanted to make the most of it. Went overto Beaches and Cream and had sundaes.
