Any recent reviews of this? We went 4 years ago, and thinking about trying it again. Whats on the buffet?

We were there in October 2011. We loved it; but we like buffets. It had your normal stuff, eggs, bacon, sausage. There was an egg dish made with egg whites, tomatoes, herbs and cheese, it was awesome.

We thought it was worth it. I think it was about $16.00 which is not bad for Disney.

We were there last September, it was really good. Basic breakfast foods, eggs, bacon, sausage, mickey waffles, pastries, cereals. We are going again this September!

Dh and I went in Nov/Dec. It was good as usual. I did think the bacon was a little different tasting. But the fresh fruit was really good.

We are going again in May. Its a good value and not so busy as the Cape May Buffet.

Thanks everyone! Glad to hear its still good. I couldn't remember what was even on the buffet last time we went. We don't really care about the characters so we figured this would be a good option and a lot cheaper!

We went there 3 times for breakfast on our last trip (staying at BC), and I got the buffet each time. It was very good, all your basic staples. And, even though we had the buffett, our server still brought us some french toast that is on the menu and not part of the buffet (they give you this awesome cinnamon butter with the french toast) - so if you get the buffet and want to try something else on the menu - just ask.

If you like eggs to order (omelets, scambled whites, over easy, etc) you just have to ask the server and they will bring you whatever eggs you want. My step dad ordered an omelet with 4 or 5 ingredients and it was no problem at all.

It was 16.99 each and included milk, juice, coffee and all the buffet or made to order items.

We went last September and it was not crowded at all.

I had breakfast there 3 out of 4 days on my Feb trip (staying at BC). I had planned it for my first and last full days, but I liked it so much, I added another breakfast ADR in between! (I might have done it all 4 days, but I wanted to make AM EMH at AK on Monday.)

It's the basics, but plenty of choices and very good, IMO. Here's a pic of my last breakfast there:

Scrambled eggs, bacon, pineapple and grapes, cheese danish, the obligatory Mickey Waffle (love the little syrup pitchers, neat idea!) - and what turned out to be my favorite part of the breakfast, oatmeal with brown sugar. (You dip up a bowl of plain oatmeal then add your choice of toppings; they had brown sugar, raisins, a nut/granola mix, and I think dried cranberries.) CG was never very busy for breakfast, and was a nice start to the day.

Loved it! Went in January on a whim, smaller than Beach Club but all good basics. Great sausage gravy and biscuits, and lox.

Our server told us we could order anything on the menu as well - even steak and eggs, which cost more, I think, on it's own. We have an ADR for August there, we'll see how it goes this time but I think it's a must-do for us going forward. A great deal at $16.99.

Keep in mind that this restaurant did charge $4 during the high season. I've eaten there during an October for the lower price, but I ate there one July at the higher price.

The surcharge seems to occur for all buffets, all you can eat places that serve family style, and character meals.

They have eggs benedict which is why we go because DH loves his to get all he can eat!

Thanks for the info everyone!!! We are going late September, so the holiday upcharge won't be a problem. Glad to see Mickey Waffles are on the buffet..the menu on all ears doesn't list everything on the buffet, so this was very helpful!

One other thing I forget to mention in my previous post...the three mornings we went there, it was only 1/4 full at the most. So with it not being very busy, it's also a good option if you want to get in and quicky any particular morning or if you're looking for a quieter breakfast.
