Captain's Grille at Yacht Club - how is it?

I'm considering a lunch reservation at Captain's Grille, but haven't been there before. I looked at the menu on Allears, and it looks like it has good choices for us. How is the food? What is the atmosphere like? Thanks for any information!

We went for dinner in Aug 08 and we did like the food, but the service, or let's say our server Francesco was just horrible.
He would not let us use the DDE/TiW to pay for extras not covered on the DDP. He rushed us through the meal and did not bother to hand us a dessert menu. The trouble was that his English was not really understandable and only after we insisted on seeing a menu he grumpily brought one over.

Wow, I just took time and read your whole dining report. It is awesome, with excellent descriptions and crystal clear pictures. Truly a great job!

I edited the title of my thread to "Captain's Grille", since that's what the Yacht Club Galley is apparently called now. Sounds like you had a great meal there, in spite of the lousy service. Thanks for your reply!

Nice quiet restaurant, breakfast is just eh but dinner was very very good!
