Captain's Grille at the Yacht Club

Can anyone tell me about their experiences at The Captain's Grille? We are thinking about booking this for our trip in August, we want something nice near DHS without eating in the park. We already have 50's Prime Time booked and Cape May so we really need one more place near. Any help will be great, we will be planning on dinner. Thanks!!!

I have only had breakfast and lunch there, The food and service were good

We ate both breakfast and dinner there last year and really enjoyed it. The food and service were both very good. We were surprised at how few people were there. It didn't seem nearly as crowded as the other restaurants we ate at. There were nine of us eating there and everyone really enjoyed their meal.

It is pretty close to the boat dock coming from DHS, which is another plus if you'll be coming from there.

We really like Captain's Grill. They offer a dinner which includes appetizer and dessert at a great price as well as a regular menu. The desserts are great! BTW, we love Williamsburg...visit several times a year!

We're going to be eating there for dinner in April. Every review I've read says it's a bit of a hidden gem, so I'm looking forward to it.
