Heading down in August and wanted to eat over in the Epcot resort area. I booked the Captain's Grille, but saw they're doing reservations and it will be housed in Ariel's while we're there? Anyone been to Ariel's? Is it worth it to keep the reservation?

Ariel's closed as a restaurant in the late 90's. So even if there are folks here who have eaten there it is not current. It has been used as a special events venue for years hosting wedding receptions and such.
I read they will not have a breakfast buffet there, but other than that it should be the same as Captain's Grille would have been, but with a different theme.

Menu/food will be the same as before (other than the breakfast buffet), just in a different location while the original spot is remodeled. We enjoyed our breakfasts at Captain's Grille. The Crew's Cup Lounge serves food from the same kitchen and we've always enjoyed that as well.

If you aren't doing the breakfast buffet & nothing comes up on any significant menu changes keep your ADR . It is only a few minutes walk from CG location.
