Just read a blurb on the dis homepage, wondered if this is comparable to the Yachtsman or Narcoossee's? Looking for someplace new; have done those mentioned, Flying Fish, but something maybe seafood and steaks on the more upscale ts.

TIA

Captain's Grille is the new name for Yacht Club Galley. It's just off the YC lobby and a mid priced (for WDW) restaurant that serves B, L & D.

Ok I skimmed over the part where it says "No, the Galley is not an elegant restaurant, nor does it exude ambiance." I just saw that they were offering it as an option to Le Cellier and got excited.

Thanks for the input!

It has a very pleasant ambiance to me. Much nicer than Le Cellier IMO.

I've never ordered steak there but my daughter had one at Crew's Cup back when sandwiches and that steak were served there. Supposedly, those things came from the kitchen at the Galley. She enjoyed it.

Anyway, it's a nice restaurant and is probably a great substitute for Le Cellier.

My DD just became a CM and will be hostessing at Captain's Grille. Look for Amanda from Buffalo State College there and tell her grinningghost (Mom) says hi.:)
