Captain Tom and Aaron Carter

Don't know if anyone else has posted about this, but the Fall 2002 issue of Disney Magazine has a CUTE (they both are ) picture of Captain Tom with singer Aaron Carter. It's on page 32.

I'm guessing you must be either a fan of Captain Tom or a fan of Aaron Carter?

I like ALL the DCL captains. And no, I'm not really a fan of Aaron Carter (I'd love to be <I>young</I> enough to be!), but he's a clean-cut, cute kid. I just think it's a nice picture of the two of them.

There's also a photo of the whole family in the water at Castaway Cay with the Wonder in the background.

Yeah. I wonder why Aaron and the second youngest brother have their t-shirts on in the water? Guess they were maybe getting too much sun. It's a nice family shot, but makes for wet t-shirts! Anyway, I thought in the pic of Captain
Tom and Aaron together, they look <I>a lot</I> alike - - except for the <I>age</I> of course .

Actually, it would be copyright infringement, but then so is a whole lot of stuff . I guess I could scan it, put it on my server temporarily and just put a link to it in a message here, without actually posting the pic on the board. What do you think?

Well, I think it sounds great. You won't be making money off of it, and you can freely state just who owns the copyright.

Thanks. It's pretty grainy since it was such a small pic scanned from the magazine and I enlarged it, but at least you can see what it looks like.

Yeah! That was funny the way they did that. I guess Aaron was the "star" (since I think DCL billed it as a "<I>Special Cruise with singer Aaron Carter</I>!"), but Backstreet Boys singer Nick is FAR better known. The first time I heard of Aaron was not long before that cruise, when I was channel surfing and came upon him in a music video on the Disney Channel. FYI: I didn't scan the "family shot."

Cool picture! I got the new Disney magazine in the mail, but was disappointed in the tiny size of the photo. Thanks for blowing it up! But Shari, you might as well confess. We all know that although you do like ALL the DCL captains, Captain Tom IS your FAVORITE! I am disappointed that he moved to the Magic, 'cause now I won't get to see him on the Halloween Wonder.
