Hello My DISfriends (especially kindred spirits!)

Has anyone eaten @ Captain Quints in Universal? I believe it's near Jaws. We're sort of seafood snobs since we're spoiled by our many trips to Maine, but we LOVE shrimp, and scallops, and fries. I think Capt. Quints has something like that. Is it any good?

We're not THAT snobby, so we can deal if the seafood is not excellent. Just not soggy or chewy.

I think I need to go add another countdown clock to include my trip to Maine. It'll make our HRH trip seem not-so-far-away!

If it is, you will love it. I am picky with my seafood and I ate the best shrimp and fry basket here, while my wife had fish and chips!!! It was awesome and reasonably priced. You can get great meals here for less than $10!!!!

Thanks, Spidey! I think we're talking about one and the same. Glad you enjoyed it. That's going to be our first stop to grab a bite after we check into the HRH.

YIIPPEEEE!

PS I'm stuck working tonight, but am going to try to sneak on the boards later. Don't tell anyone that I'll be posting from work...

Captain Quints is the counter service, oudoor (i belive) place in Amity. The description here at USO Info is:

"Captain Quints Seafood and Chowder House - Fresh selection of coastal seafood and chowder."

Then there's Lombard's Seafood Grille, which is a full service resterant:

"Lombard's Seafood Grille
Located at Lombard's Landing, along the Embarcadero (along the waterfront, across from Eathquake). Great pasta, seafood, steak, sandwiches, pasta and pastries can be found here in a beautiful setting.
**(Vegetarian foods, Healthy Choice)** "

If anything, Lombards would be a good bet is your looking for quality seafood.

I don't remember that restaurant at all, sorry.

Love your new countdown - have fun in Maine. We will be there August 30 for the long weekend. Have you ever been to Fun Town? I think it is Saco. Pretty standard amusment park, but they have an AWESOME wooden coaster. I think it is called the Excalibur - really fun!

Could you (or anyone willing ;) ) explain to me how to add a countdown clock?
Thanks,
Julie :) :) :)
