Captain Jacks in POTC at MNSSHP

Boy, if I didn't know better, some of those Captain Jacks in the POTC ride, especially during the MNSSHP, are real! Does anyone know the truth about them??? Real Jacks or robotic? DH and I are "debating" this one.

There are I believe three of them on the ride, and they are all robotic, but they are much more life-like than the other pirates, which makes you do a double-take that they might be real. But sorry, they are not.
