Captain Hook is a wise guy

So we were in the Magic Kingdom and ran across Captain Hook and Mr. Smee. My 3 year old didn't really know who they were except that they were pirates and we had just rode PotC, so she wanted their autographs. We waited in line to get the autographs and while we were taking pictures, my wife asked Hook, "Where's the alligator?" He just shrugged his shoulders and shook his head like, "I don't know". Then we got the autographs, Smee first. While Smee signed, Hook stomps his foot impatiently. Then Hook signs as Smee holds the book for him. I noticed it takes him much longer than usual to sign the book. After we leave, I ask my daughter if I can see her book and look at the autograph. Hook signed, "IT WAS A CROCODILE!!! -Captain Hook" I had to chuckle. Pretty funny...

One time we ran across him and Smee. Smee untied my shoes, and Hook tried to get all my jewelry!!

I like charactors that act up a little and have some fun with us......that way we know they are actually enjoying themselves too.

LOL This reminds me of when we went to the Character Connection at Epcot. Ran into Captain Hook and we just couldn't resist asking him where Tinker Bell was! LOL He didn't appreciate it though! Tried to shoo us away....but not before we did get his autograph!

We also had a great time with Pooh at Crystal Palace, when we told him our cat was named Pooh too, he put in one of the kids books to tell our Pooh hi from the "real" Pooh! The kids loved it!

I had a funny moment with Captain Hook. I got married on Disney Cruise Line at Castaway Cay. When I got off the ship (in full bridal attire) and on to the little wedding golf cart to take me to the wedding location on Castaway Cay, Captain Hook comes up to me and motions to me not to get married!!!!! It was the funniest thing. Now every time I see Captain Hook..especially at Castaway Cay..I tell my husband that Captain Hook told me not to marry you!!

On Valentine's Day, Captain James Hook stole my DW's sunglasses (temporarily anyways).
