I doubt they will go back to HISTA, it's almost 20 years old. They lost the sponsor (Kodak).

We love it! Both of my kids are huge MJ fans. Yes, it is totally cheesy, but I remember seeing it as a kid when I went to WDW, and it brings back great memories.

I liked seeing it, I missed it because my first WDW was in 1994, after it was gone. I think it's kind of sad because that was MJ at his best, before he ruined himself. Some plastic surgery but not the freak he was at the end. If he would have just stopped there.

I don't think they would have brought it back if not for his death. Hard to believe he'll be gone 5 years this summer.

We LOVE Captain EO...I HATED the old show. I was younger and freaked out by most of the 4-D effects (namely the 'mice' effect used in many similar shows). Captain EO is incredibly colourful and cheesy and musical and wonderful.

I wish we would get a more updated attraction in its place, but it actually is a good show. Fun music and I like how George Lucas ties some of the characters to the Star Wars world!

I support this show staying in Epcot forever.

I love EO as well do see it as being very dated. It wouldn't hurt my feelings if they replaced it, but I'll always watch it every trip as long as it's there. I love the music, not just Mj's, but James Horner's score as well! If they ever do pull the plug, they need to release it on a nice Blu-Ray set with the into video, 3-D and such.

Huge MJ fan, love Captain EO!! I was so glad Disney brought it back, even if it was for a sad reason!

HISTA was clever, funny and very entertaining. I even enjoyed the pre-show. But after seeing it a dozen times, it got old.

I saw Captain EO once. It got old while I was still watching it.

The Imagination pavillion deeply needs to be re-Imagined.

ITA. It's horrid. And having the CMs pretend to be excited over this "retro" and "campy" attraction is pathetic.

It's embarrassing that they are still showing this at EPCOT...speaks volumes about how badly Future World needs an update.

While I enjoy the show it is time for something new. With the purchase of Star Wars I think Future World would be a perfect spot to incorporate something Star Wars in EC.

MJ creeps me out! EO was phenomenal when it was introduced. Now it just looks like Disney dropped back 10 and punted on the Imagination Pavilion.

I read a rumor about them developing a Star Wars 3D movie for Tomorrwland at DL (where Captain EO is at DL). If they are looking to use the existing theater then it would probably go in at Epcot as well. This was a while ago though the SW plans are on hold as far as I understand.

Really? I hope they don't go back to HISTA. LOL I hope they put a new movie in there. It's time. Captain EO was terrible years ago, then they brought it back... Ugh. It's time for something new hopefully.
