Thank goodness. I'm going on Dec 5th w/ relatives and we will NOT be seeing this, none of us like it. Hopefully its closing will help make lines shorter that day at other attractions.

i'm going on december 5th as well in the afternoon.
if you happen to see 2 ladies with figment shirts on get ready because we'll we whipping them off at some point to show our EO love revealing our captain EO shirts underneath!

That explains why I could not get fp for it last night. My hubby will be upset he really wanted to see it. It was not there our last visit and he was hoping to see it this time. Guess I have to break the bad news it will be gone again.

I absolutely LOVE Captain EO, as does my DD21, and DS12, and I will miss it, BUT . . . . that whole pavilion certainly needs an update! Here is hoping that this is the beginning of something good for EPCOT. I would LOVE to see a new, original 4D movie in that space, perhaps something with Figment and Dreamfinder, along with a reworking of Journey into Imagination, and a re-opening of the upstairs with new interactive experiences.

While we are at it, could we have a reboot of the Wonders of Life pavilion themed to the new, and wildly popular Inside Out movie? Come on Disney, let's make EPCOT Awesome again

I am not telling DH about this. Then when he says "If you love me, you will go see Captain EO with me," I can say "Sure honey, I do love you enough to go."

I don't even think DH likes it, he just turns it into a prove your love test every trip. He has to prove his love to me by riding the carousel, we are a little bit weird.

I'm interpreting this as "Disney shorts" AND "Pixar shorts" - at least, I hope that's the case, as some of the most recent Disney shorts have been really good. I could see them doing "Get a Horse!" in 4D. I'm in the camp betting that this is a "filler" attraction until some future date when the Imagination pavilion gets a complete overhaul - and I am also in the camp that would love to see the Muppets take over the pavilion.

Oh, and Tomh, I totally agree about Inside Out taking over Wonders of Life. They should give Pete Docter a team of Imagineers and let him have free rein.

I wonder what the timeframe would be? We start our week on the 6th, might be too hopeful to see the new shorts, but that would be neat!
