Our first stay will be at the Polynesian in December - and the menu on allears for Captain Cook's just seems really limited. Is that the complete offering? I saw on another site where they had burgers and stuff like that.

Do they have chicken strips/nuggets for adults? It seems like it hasn't been updated in a while. What about fries?

They don't list an adult chicken strips but an adult can order a kid's meal.

We ate there once last Oct, had the flatbread and it was terrible. From what I remember the menu is very small

Thanks for telling me about that menu. What's with the seed bread? Ugh. That pulled pork sandwich sounds great but I hate coconut. I wonder if they have regular rolls or even whole wheat?

Does anyone know if this is a walk up place or do they take ressies?? I am really just wanting Tonga Toast, but don't necessarily want to make a breakfast ressie for it...

This is Poly's food court so no ressie needed.

If you order items like a Cheeseburger or the Adult Grilled Cheese Sandwich French Fries are not included, however you can order them as an extra item with your meal.

I tried just about everything on the menu when we were there...the pulled pork was my favorite, and I didn't even know it was a cocnut bun, it tasted just like a regular bun to me. I also liked the Polynesian salad, and the flat bread pizzas...sure, flatbread isn't the same as regular pizza, it's a more healthy option so I can see why some might not like it. I didn't like the grilled cheese at ALL. The cheese tasted too strong. I LOVED the polynesian chips, I got those with all my meals, they were yummy

Hello, all We stayed at the Poly in Dec. 07, and we went to Capt. Cooks everyday. The food was good. I got the grown-up grilled cheese and that was great! I heard the menu has changed but, I haven't strongly disliked any of the food from any of the delux's. OH...............AND about Tonga toast! I am pretty sure you have to get that @ Kona Cafe. I never saw it anywhere else. God, it is absolute HEAVEN on a plate.

I have this menu saved and it shows the rest of the items but it isn't dated - it shows the Tonga Toast and the Dole Whips, so must be fairly recent, I hope
