So........... I'm devastated. It looks like Kona just revamped their menu (an interesting move for a place where I've never seen an empty table) and eliminated my all time favorite, the Pan Asian Noodles.

BUT,

I looked at the Captain Cook's menu and they still have Pan Asian Noodles on their menu.

I've never eaten at Cooks. Has anyone ever eaten the noodles at both places? Is it the same stuff? Same vegetables and ginger sauce? Do they make it fresh or am I getting pre-made out of a warming tray?

I wish I had been aware of Captain Cook's menu when we were there last month and I would have tried it. We booked a last minute reservation at Kona because it was close and I was looking forward to those noodles! We were so disappointed and chose alternate meals that just weren't as good. Hopefully someone else can tell you if they are about the same!

I had the Pan Asian noodles at Kona this week for dinner, but ordered them off the allergy menu to avoid the peanuts in the noodles on the regular menu. I added tofu. They were delicious!

I think you probably had the "asian Stir Fry".

I'm trying to find out about the Pan-Asian noodles which was a similar dish with a garlic-gigner sauce instead of a soy-citrus sauce

It was called "Pan Asian Noodles" on the allergy menu, with ginger garlic sauce.
