Captain America in November

We are going to DL Nov 14-21. My niece is a huge superhero fan. We are hoping Captain America and Thor still do meet and greets when we get there. Some of the Star Wars stuff is opening that weekend. Hoping Cap and Thor don't get the boot. Any info wise Disers?

I would imagine they will still be available for M&G. The Avengers Half is in November. Right now, they are meeting between the fruit stand and hat shop in TL, under the old People Mover queue.
I think most of the Star Wars stuff will be in the Star Wars Launch Bay (Innovations building).

I believe I read somewhere that when the Star Wars stuff starts on 11/16 they are "re-opening" Innoventions and it will be re-themed inside to Star Wars and that is where we will once again be able to meet Thor and Captain America (I believe as well as the Star Wars characters). I hate that we'll be there the first week it opens so we'll be the guinea pigs posting advice for the rest of the masses on what NOT to do (from our learning mistakes!)

Innoventions will have Star Wars Launch Bay on the bottom floor and a redone Marvel experience on the top floor. This is supposed to open Nov 16th with all the other Seasons of the Force stuff.

It's going to be an interesting time with Avengers marathon, new star wars stuff and christmas festivities starting.

I thought only the Launch Bay was opening in November and the upper level would open later. I think that they will be meeting by the end of that week, but if I recall last year during SW Half they actually pulled the stormtroopers from TL for the weekend to encourage people to pay for the party. I could see Cap and Thor taking a day or 2 off because they will be appearing during the races, and then going back to whatever their greet schedule is after the weekend.

They were there last year and at the race. However at the race the lines were so long. I only really got Black widow. Thor was far to long and I think cap and Thor were closed off before I got there because I waited two hours to see black widow.

I would bet the top will be opened at the same time as the bottom. I think it is going to be so cool.

In case OP hadn't heard the most up to date info. Sadly, Captain America will be gone after Nov. 11. Thor and Spider Man will start Nov. 16.

WHY would they do that? Cap made so much more since. Spider mans ok but they shouldn't have took cap away. He is Captain America come on some bug bitten super hero or Captain america? I chose Cap and Thor every day.

I read that CA is taking a break... from the Disney Blog:

Someone asked: Does this mean Captain America is leaving Shawn? There is no mention of him.

The answer: Captain America is leading the Avengers on a new mission and won’t be available at Disneyland this fall, but we do expect him to return in the future.

Are you running/participating in the Avenger's Marathon? It sounds like some of the characters might be joining guests at the "Pasta in the Park" event ahead of the marathon.

I wish i was in shape enough to run that!! lol. I want to do one of the disney 5 k races in 2016. great motivation to get back in to running.

We get in pretty late on Saturday. Hoping to at least find somebody sort of resembling Captain America.
