Just returned from our trip to WDW. We had a great trip. Our first dinner was at Cap't Jacks at Marketplace DTD. This was one of our favorite dinners. The food was wonderful!!! The twin lobster tails are a must. My husband had the pot roast which was also great. The service was just as good as the service we receive on cruiseships. We were very impressed. Please visit this place if you have an upcoming trip. We were on the Dining Plan which made it even better with only paying a tip.

Hello, We're going from UK on 4th July for 2 weeks, staying Riverside, and have an ADR for Capt Jacks. Sounds like the twin Lobster tails are the Best. Would welcome any further advice, as its our first trip!

Been there done that several times.....twin tails!! We have ADR for our upcoming trip in Sep. its the first rest. we eat at on this trip...We fly in at noon, check in to POR, hop on the boat to DTD and have a ressie for 6:30.....
We cant wait......
BTW, They have a fabulous waitress there......cant remember the name now.....mid 50's been with WDW for 25 plus years......she knows everything about the world.......brunette.....very nice lady........

Rock lobster tails.....small to med. size......they are good.....I have had it about 3 times......always a good meal for me.......

Be sure to take the water taxi from your resort as it will dock right at Cap'n Jacks when you get to downtown disney. Be sure to board the water tax 45 min. before your reservation. If you get there early you can walk over to the margarita stand and get a drink.

ohh i am so excited to see some positive reviews about this place. we are a big seafood family but since we are on ddp Fultons and Flying Fish is out of the question and we dont have park tickets for our arrival day.. i am especially excited to hear about the refurb. those lobster tails is what enticed up to make our 1st adr at capt n jacks.

i am aware, but we are already using 2 ts each for CRT...Flying Fish just didn't work for us!
