Do women ever wear dressy capri pant suits at night on the three day Wonder?

Do you mean for the restuarants or just for the night activities?

I didnt wear them to the dining room because I had a tank top with spaghetti straps to go with them. However after our dinner at Tritons, I changed from my dress into capris and wore them for the remainder of the night in the clubs. Capris are fine for the clubs.
Capris & a nicer shirt(nicer than my tank top) would be fine for AP or PC too, if you are asking for dining rooms. I wouldnt wear them in Tritons or Palo though. Then again, we like dressing up and we went semi formal for those restuarants.

Yep, I saw plenty of capris at dinner (on the casual nights) and in the clubs. They're fine. :)

Thanks for the replies. We are packing for our upcoming 3 Day this Thursday and I had always like to be sure.

I am glad to hear semi-formal for Tritons as we really want to have a nice family picture taken.

Thanks again.

Teri

I wouldn't worry about dressy capris anywhere.

The people at the table next to us at Tritons wore their swimsuit cover-ups and their kids were wearing pyjama's.

I am going to have to second that....:earseek: :earseek: :earseek:

Yep .. I can second AND third that! I've been on the 3 night and the 7 night. People pretty much wore whatever they felt like wearing. My son & I dressed up - I even rented a tux for him (on the 7 night).

You just have to take it all in stride and enjoy dressing up!

I'm on the 10/10 3 night cruise (thank you $99 cruise voucher!) with my best friend - no kiddo this time!

Can't wait !!

Exactly. Enjoy yourselves and dress up as much as you want. We did and never once felt over-dressed. There are always going to be people "less" dressed up somewhere and I was more interested in our own company, our conversations, our meals, etc.

:earseek:  :earseek: Ok, I guess the shorter cruises have REALLY toned down then since we were on them. Although not everyone had jackets and ties/dressy pants or dresses in Lumiere's (yes Magic was still doing 3 & 4 when we sailed her last) swim cover ups were NOT seen in any of the diningrooms.

We'd be part of the more dressed up group in any event.

Im not a capri wearer myself. However, I dont see the difference between men wearing dressy shorts and women wearing capris which are long shorts. Sorry

Actually, capris are short pants. ;)

We used to call them "high waters" when I was a kid. :p

Also capris come in a wide variety of dressiness (is that a word?). While I'd agree that some of the less formal versions are about the same as city shorts many are more like pant suits - done in silk with embroidered/embellished tops.

Deb

I meant about the same a city shorts in terms of formality not length! LOL Oh my what a confusion.
