We are arriving late at 1:30PM, taking DCL bus from WDW. On our previous cruises we wore green leis, or took green mickey heads from Home Depot and put them on our carryon or backpacks. its easy to spot the green.

I also tried to book brunch but it was all booked already.. there were some dinner spots avl but I didnt want to do dinner there because since this is our first disney cruise we dont want to miss any of the dinners so it looks like we will have to save that for a future trip..

I went shopping today and found the perfect outfit for one of our formal nights on the Carnival cruise the week before.. also shopped for some more of the FE things.. I think Im almost done with that

so are we wearing leis or something so we can identify each other if we see each other at the terminal ?

Are you going to divide us for the FE delivery between the nights or are we free to deliver them when we want???

We also have late dinner and just hate it.

I think to deliver when we want to , as we don't really don't know what fun stuff Disney will be doing onboard :confused3 what does everyone else think ?

You might be able to change your dining when you get onboard too

Well, on January we tried to change it with no luck. We received a daily call informing us that there were no openings. The sad thing is that if you look around the restaurants you can see empty tables, I know they're assigned but is kind of rude for people to not show of and leave us eating in the second seating.

I'll try

To try and request 1st seating, you can try and go in person as soon as you get on the ship. There will be a restaurant manager to talk to about first seating, it will be listed in your navigator as to where to go to make changes, and also to get last minute Palo reservations. It usually works.

No set time to deliver the FE gifts. Just surprise us:) If anyone wants to change their seating or try to book Palo, you should be able to go to Route 66 and get that taken of when you board. I just looked at a recent navigator and we will only have about 30 minutes to meet because we have to get ready for the safety drill at 4. Maybe those of us who can (I know the young kiddies might not even make it through dinner!);) could also meet up after dinner that night outside the lounge. Just a thought!

Hey everyone!!! Less than a month to go:banana::banana: Our cabin is 7520. Has anyone booked any excursions?? We haven't, but I was reading about the Blue Lagoon beach day( on the disboards) and it looked interesting. The last time we were in Nassau we really didn't do anything except walk around for a bit and get back on the boat. I don't even know if it is too late to book. Did anyone book this or know anything about it?

Mariah and I will be at Blue Lagoon. We are booked for the 9:30 Sea Lion Encounter. Hoping for a little beach time too.

looks like we are going to be neighbours

I'm sure there is still time to book some excursions
we didn't book any either
planning on just going to the beach in Nassau

Well the countdown is on
:yay::yay:2 weeks today we will be leaving for the airport to start our holiday:yay::yay:

We didn't book any excursions. I think Nassau day we will spend it on the boat. It shouldn't be too late for you to book though. Are you dressing up your son for pirate night?

Ok...we made up our minds. No excursions. It will probably be better this trip if we stay on the boat and relax. Yes DS is going to be dressed as a pirate for pirate night. I am currently searching for a costume. Probably going to get him the same one he wore last year. It was lightweight enough so that he didn't get too sweaty! I think it would be cool to dress up, but I know when the time comes I won't feel like it.We will probably wear some kind of pirate t-shirts.pirate:

Just done all the on line check in stuff for cruise

got the carhire pre registered too so looks like we are all set

No excursions for us, but DH, who usually does not participate in our cruise planning, has decided to dress up as a pirate. I purchased a plus size costume online. He is having fun adding accessories.

I can't believe it's so close :cool1::cool1: I can't wait til we leave. We are doing the Blue Lagoon Dolphin Encounter. I booked it through ShoreTrips and save a BUNCH of money:cheer2: I just hope everything works out ok. I bought our gifts for the FE last night, and my mom is making our Fish Extender. Looks like we are ready to go. See yall onboard:banana::banana::banana:

We're dressing up also; we were planning on purchasing some pirate t-shirts, but sinc ewe're also going to the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party on the 11th, we decided to get the costumes and used them on both nights. On our last cruise there were many people dressed up in pirate costumes and I know is a lot of fun.

Does he know you posted his photo here???

I'm trying to convince him to go to the MNSSHP on Friday 9/7, since we are arriving on Thursday 9/6 and staying pre-cruise at BLT.
No, he doesn't know I posted since he doesn't DIS. This is so out of character for him to ask about dressing up, so I am going with the flow and enjoying his enthusiasm .. Two years ago, on our 7 night Western, he went to the kids club and got face paint. He did his face as a surprise, showing up after dinner for the pirate party.
