We only went to Wolfgang Puck's once, and we weren't all that impressed for dinner. We would have probably enjoyed it more for a lunch, esp. pre-DP. The burgers were really good, but the rolls weren't. No one in our party of 8 loved their food. I had some sort of pasta dish and thought it was pretty good, but I was definitely one of the few. On the other hand, we really enjoyed Cap'n Jacks. We almost didn't go b/c of some of the negative remarks on the boards, but we decided to give it a try. We will definitely go back when we go again in August. The lobster was delicious, and every1 really enjoyed their meals there. Good luck w/ your decision.

I've been to both and enjoyed both, but voted for Wolfgang Pucks. I just ate there two weeks ago and received excellent service and the food was great. I had an early ADR and asked for and received a very nice table overlooking the river. Before I left home I had read that the Wolf's steak was no longer on the menu, but that's not true. I ordered it, mango tea, artichoke dip, and key lime pie. The price would have been $61.49 without the DDP.

The only thing is when the ticket came it showed only $37.00 was charged. I asked the waiter about it and he said that because they were not Disney owned that $37.00 is all Disney reimburses them. That $37.00 also included his tip. Despite him saying it all worked out in the end, not to worry about it, and that it wasn't necessary I gave extra to bring his tip up where is should be. Anyone dining there on the DDP might want to keep that in mind and tip accordingly.

Ate at CJ last year and really enjoyed it. We had the steak and lobster. Have also read alot of neg reviews, but we liked our food. The server was not the best, but that can happen anywhere.

WGP because choosing CJ just for the lobster would be a great dissappointment if you went there on a night that they ran out of lobster. (Yes, occassionally they do run out :sad2: )
Now, if you were choosing CJ for other menu items and not just the lobster, then I would say go for it :goodvibes
