I honestly don't know why they (VMK) are still having us play games, earn credits, buy new room/ride parts, just to close down in a month and a half.

Heck, they should give us ALL green flips... right now!

We will be in WDW on the last day too. You are correct that VMK Central closed last fall. There is no place at WDW to sign on to VMK unless you have your own laptop in the resort.

I myself have school that day but my parents are letting me skip it that day and go to Universal with friends of my fathers. I really can't believe VMK is going to close and all the friends I've made, the year(s) I've spent on my current VMK char and the one I lost due to deletion..will all be gone. Memories can't last forever.

I will be in WDW too.. at least 99% sure anyway. I have the plane tickets and the room and just need to get my plans together.

I had expected that I would to go back to my room and my laptop for close but I am up for anything my fellow VMKers cook up for the day and maybe even the evening.

Cape dude just suggested that we all line up in the middle of Main Street and get a picture of us dancing (like in the old days of VMK).

FYI: That night is a Pirate & Princess Party at the MK which I'm not sure if we'll be attending or not. I'd like to go, just haven't decided yet. Also, we'll have our 75 yr old DAunt with us that I need to be mindful of too, however she's a good sport and would be up for almost anything.

That day is scheduled for us as Ohana's breakfast and then Sea World for the day followed by DTD. I wish I had a laptop and then I could at least be there for what may be the last close, but alas, I don't. And I have to get up really early the next a.m. because that's our last full day, aka the day where we go to 3 parks and try and finish up as much stuff we missed that we can.

It would be really nice to see you all "for real" though.

I can't believe how many of us are going to be there the same time. We come in on the 20th, so I'll be missing the last few days of VMK. It really would be hilarious if we could get a picture of us dancing together on Main Street for our "final close." Too bad it's a P&PP night.

Coriander and ElectricLime: Thank you for the very generous offer of going to your houses to log on, but I'm not sure what our plans are for that particular evening, yet. We'll keep in touch between now and then, because we'd still like to get together at some point, and hopefully find a day and time that works for all of us.

Aeryn helpfully reminds me that the game closes at 1am (our time) and that it's a work night. So I'm probably going to bed long before VMK closes, so actually my place is probably not the best place for a VMK closing party, unless people only wanted to game until 10pm or so.
