I can't say it's a never miss for me; I find it to be your typical institutional mass made buffet food focused on quantity rather than quality. I personally was not impressed with the rather thin crab legs either; however they are on the buffet every night. But with all that said I'm not the best person to listen too when it comes to dinner buffets; other than Boma there is not a dinner buffet I will eat at. I am not a fan of buffet food at all.

I agree and I like a good buffet. The crab legs were not meaty, all other seafood was sparse, and just really not varied. Wouldn't do it again.

DW and I love Cape May cafe with one important restriction. We have to get early reservations. We have found if we get in before 5:45pm or so, we have really enjoyed the food but later meals have been bleh. Im not sure if it is how fast they are cooking to keep the buffet filled or what but we enjoy it much more when we get their early or shortly after open.

Yes, the buffets do NOT get better as the night wears on.
