I just upgraded from POP to AKL and now I'm rethinking my ADRS in order to take advantage of the dining at AKL. I booked a Breakfast at Boma for the day of our departure already. Now I'm considering canceling my dinner reservation at Cape May. We love Seafood but should I forgo this reservation for Dinner at Boma or Sanaa? We are all adventurous eaters expect for DD4. We have DD Plan so cost isn't a factor. I really do want to try the bread service but I see I could just do that at lounge sometime during my trip.

No contest. Boma or Sanaa. We think Cape May Cafe sucks.

We had a good meal at Cape May Cafe, but have never been back, we have however, eaten at Boma and Sanaa many times each, and have really enjoyed each of our meals. I would certainly choose either Boma or Sanaa over Cape May Cafe without hesitation.

Would you choose Sanaa or Boma? Im trying to decide which we should choose. I'm doing Boma for Breakfast so I'm not sure I should do it for dinner too!

Cape May dinner is my favorite buffet at WDW. Have done it many, many times.
Have only done Boma once and it was just ok & have never done Sanaa.
Staying at AKL tho would make Boma or Sanaa more convenient but personally I would choose Cape May.

Boma breakfast and dinner are completely different, obviously, so I wouldn't let that sway you. I slightly prefer Boma as an overall experience, but that's just because I love soup, and they have some of the best, and I also like the ability to try a lot of different things and sort of snack around the different stations until I am full. I would say that the food at Sanaa is a bit of a higher caliber, likely because it is more made to order, also it is a much quieter restaurant experience. Really you can't go wrong with either, Sanaa also serves lunch, which is nice, because you can see the animals from the restaurant, although that is obviously less of a draw when you are staying there and can see them all the time. So yeah, sorry, I am of zero help, I really like them both.

I also highly recommend the free Boma and Jiko culinary tours, I believe they are still offered every day around 4pm. They take you on a tour of both restaurants, and you get to try a couple samples from each (I believe usually a soup or two and zebra domes at Boma, and the bread service at Jiko). There are a lot of reviews online if you want to take a look.

Sanaa is the best restaurant on property. I'd happily cancel Cape May for it.

My DS6 would have to eat off the kids menu at Sanaa while using the dining plan, correct? If that's the case I think I'm leaning towards Boma. He eat like an adult and really enjoys trying new things.

We love seafood and Cape May was awful. Won't go back. Would definitely recommend Boma or Sanaa.

We have done both breakfast and dinner at Boma we love it! Sometimes it has been on the same day and other times different days.

We did Cape May Cafe for breakfast and Boma for dinner last trip. Loved them both! But totally different experiences so depends on what you're looking for! We really wanted that character experience that Cape May Cafe offered and it was wonderful with my young kiddos. The kids didn't appreciate the awesome variety of food at Boma (they stuck to their basic noodle/nugget options) but the adults thought the food was amazing and it was my husband's favorite meal of the trip.

We had Easter dinner at cape may last year.. worst meal of our trip. wont be back

Never had dinner at Cape May, but we've eaten at Boma and Sanaa. Sanaa is the hands down winner for us. They are also really great with picky eaters. I recommended it to a picky eater friend and when she decided their braised beef dish was too much for her, they insisted she have a more basic burger ... just so she could leave fed and happy.
