Cape May or O'Hana's for Character Breakfast?

Never di Ohanas, but we don't care for Lilo and Stitch. We may give it a try next year if we go though, for something different. We did Cape Mays this year. I thought the food was great and the characters were great. We enjoyed it.

Are you looking for better food or better character interaction?

I think they're both nice. I'd do Cape May if I were you since it's right there. :)

I love both ! It really depends on what you prefer. We had great character interaction at both places.

Cape May is a buffet, 'Ohana is family style.

'Ohana is a set menu (eggs/bacon/sausage/potatoes and Mickey waffles, plus pineapple bread and fruit) while Cape May is a buffet with many, many choices.

'Ohana has Mickey, Pluto, Lilo & Stitch.
Cape May has Minnie, Goofy, and now Donald - they used to have Chip-or-Dale but I think they've been relocated now.

Unless you really want to have breakfast with Stitch I'd recommend you go with Cape May since you'll be staying onsite. Get an early ADR, have some great fun and great food, and go burn up all those calories at Epcot !

Have done both and really like both for different reasons. Like the buffet at Cape May, and also like the sit down style of Ohana. We ultimately prefer Ohana though....atmopshere, MK views, great service and love the characters they have there.

We've done & love both! We prefer Ohana, but since you're staying at the Beach Club, you couldn't go wrong with Cape May either.

Trying Cape May next month . We love Ohanas and Chef mickey. Thanks for the reviews

I booked Cape May! How long do you think it will take? We have a 7:45am ADR and would like to make a 9am rope drop. Is this reasonable?

I don't think so. It usually takes an hour for most character meals. And even if you are going to Epcot that is still really pushing it to get there before 9.

You'll be cutting it close. I agree, plan an hour for the character meal. If you walk to DHS, that can take a good 10-15 minutes.

Cape May or O'hana offer good breakfasts with O'hana as my choice between the two.

We loved Cape May when we ate there last year. It's quite and peaceful. Great atmosphere. Characters were great and came around quicker than the larger restaurants.

I don't think you can make rope drop at 9am with a 7.45 character breakfast. The breakfast itself will take at least 45mns and most likely an hour. And if you take the boat to DHS, depending if you have a boat right away and how many people get on at the other stops, it can take you a good 30mns to get there.

What we've done once is go to DHS on a morning EMH day (it opened at 8am), hit the biggies, and then go do a brunch at Cape May at the latest time available (10.50 I believe). The food is still fresh and replenished, and the characters have more time to play around so that was really nice.
