The closer our trip gets, the less able I am to make a decision. :confused3 I have breakfast reservations for Ohana and Cape May on different days but we can only keep one. PLEASE help me decide which one to keep and which one to cancel!!! Lilo and Stitch aren't a big deal to us, we love the fab five. I know Cape May has Minnie and Goofy and Ohana has Mickey and Pluto so I think the restaurants are even in that respect. Which has better food?

We enjoy both of them. Capbe May you go up to the buffet and has a larger variety. Ohana is served family style not as large of a selection. We found the food yummy at both.

I would choose whichever is easier for you to get to.

We have not been to O'Hana breakfast, but LOVE Cape May...we do it every year.

I personally like Cape May better than Ohana...don't get me wrong...I like Ohana, but I feel Cape May is more laid back, has a wide variety of choices and the character interaction was so much better (we were able to see the characters twice).

You can't go wrong wither either though!

We loved CM and will definately be returning for our trip next year. It seems to always get consistent reviews and the characters were wonderful. Buffet has big selection.

I have always heard great things about Ohana bkfst too, but unfortunately 4 out of 6 people in our family HATE eggs and the kids wont touch potatoes (unless they are of the french fry or mashed variety), so, for us that particular bkfst is out just b/c of the food.

I think you will be happy with either one though.

It depends on what you are looking for, if you want more food options...then Cape May is the place for you
if you want to sit down and relax and have your food served to you family with some of the best juice on Disney Property...then I would go with Ohana.

Both Cape May and Ohana rank up there as our top character breakfasts
but we would pick Ohana as our favorite character breakfast just because is so much easier to have a server bring our food to our table. We aren't having to make sure we aren't at the buffet when the characters come around. We just prefer to have a more relaxing start to our day by not having to wait in line for a buffet. Pluto is one of our family favorites for character interaction, plus at Ohana you get to keep your lais, have a family picture taken, and the kids get to march around in a parade.

Cape May does have a wonderful breakfast selection and the characters are great, but it can be hectic.

We've eaten at both several times, but I much prefer Cape May. I like their food better and I think it's easier to get in and out quickly. To help you think through your choice, here's some questions...

- Location, which park are you going to that day? Ohana is great if you're going to MK. Cape May is close by to Epcot and DHS. We usually do a 7:30am Cape May breakfast before heading to DHS.

- Buffet vs family style, which do you prefer? Cape May has a large variety of hot and cold breakfast foods plus fruits and pastries. Ohana is a set meal with eggs, sausage, potatoes, bacon and Mickey waffles for the kids. For me, the quality of food is much higher at Cape May.

- Characters, which ones do your kids like? Ohana has Lilo, Stitch, Mickey and Pluto in tropical wear. Cape May has Minnie, Goofy and Donald in beach wear. Go with the one your kids are interested in.

Hope that helps. Cafe May Cafe is a must do for us every trip! Have a wonderful trip!

we just got back a couple of weeks ago and did both.....we had been to O'hanna twice already so this was our third time...first time for Cape may and we both agreed that the food was great and characters were a lot of fun and if we had to pay out of pocket instead of having free dining we could choose Cape May...I love the Beach club and the ride over on the boat added to the fun.

The questions I would ask are:
How much do you want to see Lilo & Stitch? If you don't, then don't go to Ohana?
Do you have any other character meals with the Fab 5 planned? If you do, then you could skip Cape May Cafe.
Where are you staying and what park are you planning for the day? I would choose the one that is closer to my plans for the day.

We have eaten at both. I prefer Cape May, but not it I am planning MK or AK for the day. Just something to think about.

Thanks for all the great responses! :lovestruc We actually don't know what park we are going to that day as it is our last day and we are just playing it by ear. Can you imagine that??? ;) We'll probably head to Cape May as it seems like it has more options and my boys can be picky eaters. So excited!!!
