HI I will be married at WDW and am going for my planning session at 9 am- I have always wanted to have a nice breakfast at disney but never have time and I thought that morning would br great. We are staying at the beach club and of course will head to the Francks for the appointment so could eat at the GF also, what would you reccommend? It should probably be a buffet/something that would be fast.
Thanks

Hello!

My Mom and I attended both breakfasts in February, and I'd give a slight edge to Cape May. Although I must admit I'm not a fan of the GF, so that might factor in! I prefered the bright colours of Cape May.

We went to both restaurants at 9:30am, and it was not that busy.

Enjoy!

I prefer the Cape May. Both are character breakfast but the one at 1900 Park Fair is WAY more crowded. We were seated in one of the rooms off of the main room and the noise was incredible. Don't know if it was the high ceilings or what, but it was noisy.

I've always found Cape May to be more on the quiet side (for a character meal) and nice and low-key.

Thanks - any more sugguestions would be great! I have never eaten at Cape May, and this will be our second stay at the BC but have eaten at both GF restaurants but it has been 10 years or so.... May be more convenient to eat at Cape May and the grab a cab to Francks. Does the Gally have a buffet? And what time do they begin serving breakfast?

Our family really enjoys the breakfast at Cape May because it does not get as hectic as some of the other character breakfasts. We have always gone at the earliest seating (7:30 am)--the food is very good and the character interaction is great. Good luck with your decision :sunny:

Thanks- made ADR today for Cape May at 7:40 am- so do you think we will get right in at that time?

Close to it. I find with all the "dining plan" stuff now that you don't necessarily get seated right away. They start seating the 7:30 people between 7:30 and 7:45--takes a little bit to get them all then. You'll probably just wait about 10 minutes or so.
