We always visit CP,but this year wanted to make two breakfast ressies. We are not big breakfast eaters at home, but love it on vacation! We want to do this breakfast before DS, and we have our own car.Which do you like best?TIA:goodvibes

My wife and I visit Cape May for breakfast each trip. Our children are now adults, so even without having children with us, we enjoy the atmosphere, the food, and the character interaction.

Since I have only done Cape May I would say that one, it is always a huge hit for us and we always eat there on every trip, even a weekender!

We are trying Chef Mickeys breakfast for the first time in April, cannot wait.

We dont eat breakfast at home, just oatmeal or something, but at WDW we make sure to have a TS breakfast every day!

Just returned from our trip today. Chef Mickeys was really great. The characters were around all the time and the food was pretty good in comparison with the food court options at the hotel.

Your DD is the same age as my Dnephew and he loved Chef Mickey's. His top 3 things at WDW:

1. Characters
2. Chef Mickey's
3. Goofy's Barnstormer (in Toontown, rollercoaster)

Not sure you can get a higher rating from a 5/6yo!

Grandma and I are a bit older than him and we too loved Chef Mickey's. We all waved our napkins. I also think we got the best photos at Chef Mickey's with all 5 characters (Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and Donald Duck). My nephew got to dance with Donald!

Thanks so much for these replies!! Septbaby, thanks for the DN5 perspective!
We really want to give one of these a try.It is very hard to decide between these two obvious family favorites. My ressie date is closing in:woohoo: .
Deciding is such sweet sorrow!!

I know everyone has a different opinion, but I have to say one of the very worst meals i've ever eaten at WDW was at Cape May. Even w/o that being said, I have to say that our family favorite character breakfast is Chef Mickey's and we've tried many! Can't beat the food & the character interactions. MHO. Good luck with your decision making!

We have done both and I would definetly go with Cape May without a doubt!! Awesome character breakfast

The atmosphere at Cape May is really nice and we enjoyed the food, too. Chef Mickey's always seems a little more frantic and loud. This is not our style, so we tend to stay away.
