I like Ohana's - atmosphere, food, characters and it dosen't seem as loud or "Crazy" as Chef Mickey's as it's a sit down vs. the buffet. However,CM is fun. I've never went to Cape May for breakfast. sorry not much help....I think you can't go wrong with either
Of the 3, we prefer 'Ohana - it has great atmosphere and character interaction, and the food is delish! Cape May would be second. It is probably the quietest character meal and the food is really good.
We have never had a problem with Chef Mickey's, but it is busier than the others and I would rate it third for the food.
It's been a long, long time since we did a character breakfast at O'hana. We do, however, have to have breakfast at Cape May Cafe every trip (with or without kids)--the food is excellent, the atmosphere relaxing and totally enjoyable.
We have been to all three. I probably rate Cape May first. Although I liked O'hana's food, my kids aren't too into Lilo and Stitch anymore. Of the three my kids would pick CHef Mickey's!! In fact they asked for it again this coming trip. They love that all the main characters are there and they like the party atmosphere. It is fun.
We've done Chef Mickey's and Cape May. We've not done Ohanas--not Stitch fans at all and we prefer a buffet over family style. Of the two--CM's or Cape May, I would definitely go with Cape May. Although there are less characters, we found the restaurant cleaner, the food tastier, service better and character interaction 100x better.
Chef Mickey's is highly over-rated.
If you are going to Magic Kingdom that day, I would do Ohana's
If you are heading to Epcot or Hollywood Studios, then hitting Cape May Cafe is a better choice.
Character-wise it's just about preference: Ohana - Lilo & Stitch, Cape May - Goofy & friends.
I would go with either Cape May or 'Ohanas. I think you'd be happy with either. Chef Mickey's has really slumped as far as quality and service. We no longer eat there. Yuck.
Thanks for all the great replies. We are staying at BC so Cape May would be easy. Is Mickey there? or would we have to go to Chef Mickeys?
We might just have to do two

Agree w/pp regarding Cape May. Very relaxing & the characters were wonderful. We did a later breakfast (10:00ish) and the characters were constantly at our table b/c it wasn't very crowded (Sept). Food was good.
We liked Chef Mickey. The characters were great and really goofed around w/our boys (7, 9 & 14 at the time). We also enjoyed the food. The atmosphere is a lot fun also.
Ohana, the kids liked the characters and if they still do the parade around the rest., that's when our kids had the best time. The food was good, we just prefer the buffets over waiting for the food. Even though they kept refilling the bowls & plates of food, we had to wait for them to get to it if we ran out of something. That's what we didn't like about the whole thing.
Ohanas in Feb was not so good food (we had to send back the eggs), yummy fruit. Limited food choices because they bring it to you family style. The character interactions were quick. Like really quick. Dark room. You do get Mickey and the parade was cute.
Cape May we also went to in Feb and is a buffet with lots of food. Food was very good, no complaints. Very laid back atmosphere. The room is bright. Characters came back 3+ times. They played with the kids a lot. My kids asked to go back here on our next trip. Also if you are at the BC it is so easy to get to
We really love the food at Ohana and the fact that it is served to the table is really nice. However, our hands down fav is Cape May. It scores big with us in every area...food, service, atmosphere and character interaction.
We liked Cape May b/c its a more relaxing breakfast buffet. When we went it was chip/Dale (my son favorite character) so he loved it. My son is not a Stitch fan and my husband has no interest trying OHANA. We have done CM dinner and we will try CM breakfast on our upcoming trip.
