Cape May from Epcot in the AM

Is it possible to exit through the International Gateway from Epcot to get to a 10:30AM reservation at Cape May? I know you can enter there before the WS opens, but I was not sure about Exiting. We were thinking about getting to Epcot for ropedrop and riding an attraction in Future World and/or getting a Fastpass before heading over to our ADR at Cape May.

Yes you can. You can walk through the Canada and Great Britain pavilions to the International Gateway. The pavilions themselves will still be closed in that the stores and restaurants will not be operating.

Thanks. Is it fairly easy to get to the Beach club at that time? I imagine we would have to walk it then . . .or are the boats running both ways in the morning.

It would probably be longer to take the boat than it does to walk. Just walk it. Beach Club is the first resort you will come to on the right, follow the right hand path. Enter the lobby and Cape May will be on your left.

The boat drops you off closer to the Yacht Club when it gets there (I think it will actually go to Boardwalk first) and you would be doubling back to the Beach Club lobby.

The boats run on a circuit, so they would be running back to the resorts in the morning. However, it will probably be quicker to walk anyhow. When you go out International Gateway, just bear right as you approach Crescent Lake and follow the path along the lake to the Beach Club main lobby entrance. To get to Cape May, turn left once you enter the lobby.

It's less than a five minute walk, we had no problem finding it.

I agree with the other posters that it is much better to walk it than to take the boat. I also do want to say, good choice on going with Cape May Cafe Breakfast....it is one of our favorite breakfasts on property....the food, service, and character interaction is outstanding. Have a great time

We did the Cape May breakfast in April & it was great! Have your camera ready when you walk through WS, it's a great time to get uncrowded pictures of Canada & UK. The CM's "guarding" (for lack of a better word) the area have always been great about taking pics of us when asked.

Will this work for a 9:55 ADR as well? Can you get into WS as soon as Epcot opens, it's just that nothing is operating?

Yes, once the IG entrance is open, you can go either direction between WS and FW on the set path -- which, as mentioned by PPs, goes by UK and Canada.
