Cape May for dinner or Spoodles

Cape may was fabulous and the hotel is so beautiful!!!!

We always enjoy the Clam Bake at the Cape May Cafe. You do not have to be a seafood lover since they have plenty of other items as well. It's always as MUST DO when we visit WDW.

I've eaten at both a dozen or more times. Hard to say. I actually prefer the food at Spoodles. Service at the Cape may has been spotty over the past few years, it used to be excellent all the time. I'd look at which has the type of food you want and go from there.

Thanks for the info also. We are also interested in Cape May. Have to belly up to the buffet at least once while we are down there. :flower:

As an FYI, the Cape May is currently undergoing rehab and while still open, is quite "rearranged" from how it normally would be.

Ducklite,

We have never been to Cape May's. Is it still do-able or not worth it because of the rehab?

Sorry, I do'nt know, I was just passing on what a friend who is a server at the YC told me.

Thanks Anne,

We will probably still dive in. Since we have never been, we don't know what to expect either way.

Thanks to all.

It seems like a tough choice. Both menues look so good. When we were at WDW last fall we had to cancel our clam bake ressies, because I was in my 1st trimester (couldn't stand the smell of seafood). Maybe we'll try it this time.
