I was just wondering if I could get some opinions on the Cape May Clam bake, does this still exist? I got a menu off of WDIG just wondering if it was good. My dad only eats Seafood and Tofu so this seemed like a good choice for him, thanks!
Oh yes, it still exists, and is still about the best value for a meal on WDW property. The food is wonderful... all you can eat steamed clams, mussels, and shrimp, along with BBQ brisket and chicken dish, a pasta dish, a variety of vegetables, mashed and red potatos, New England Clam Chowder, a huge salad bar, and the best dessert bar you have ever seen!
The service is great, the atmosphere airy and relaxed. We have been going to Cape May Cafe every trip since 1993, and we have PS for 22 days from now! Can't wait!!!!
Eeyore - mmm - can't wait to try this one next trip. Thinking about doing a ps for breakfast here to - cant make up my mind between charcter breakfast and the clam bake - guess I'll have to try both both.
Thank you all for responding so quickly. I know we aren't going for another year but food is our lives in our family. My dad had a heart attack 18 years ago and refuses to eat any meat so he basically eats just tofu but when he wants to treat himself he gets seafood so the clam bake sounds great!! This will be my parents first vacation in 25 years so this is just great!! I can't wait! I am glad they have other foods there because I am the opposite of my father, I eat no seafood all meat. And I have a picky 5 year old so it sounds like we can all be happy!
