Cape May Character Breakfast ???

Whats the breakfast like? Is it buffet or family style? Do they pretty much have same menu as other character breakfasts???? It will just be the 2 of us.

it's a buffet. Went with some friends (all 3 of us adult women) last year.

Bacon, sausage, pastries, Mickey waffles, I'm sure there was some sort of eggs, fruit, cereal. I suppose the usual.

We liked it and had good character interaction with Goofy, Chip and Minnie.

I have been to this buffet with just adults, and a mix of adults and children and even a mix of seniors,adults,children and babies and this is a fun, more relaxed atmosphere. They have great food that is very simmilar to all the other charachter breakfasts, eggs, bread pudding, breakfast lasagna, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, fruit, cereal, oatmeal, rolls and sweet rolls and my favorite KRISPY KREME DONUTS!!!(sorry, I live in an area where these are not readily available so I always get excited by them . It is a fun brunch no matter your age.

We really enjoyed our breakfast here. Nice and relaxing when we went in Nov of 2003. I'm not a picky eater so everything was wonderful, lots of fruit and pastries!! I remember really liking the warm banana bread pudding. Very nice breakfast. Great character interaction for my kids, but not pushy if you're worried about that.

Thank goodness for this post! I have a PS for Cape May and had no idea it was a character meal. My precious children will be with their grandparents that day and I was hoping for a quiet meal with DH. I don't think either of us would enjoy characters. Any great breakfast ideas for a couple who has 10 days with their children and ONE DAY ALONE at Disney?

Thanks alot!!!! We have switched resorts our last 3 days from CR to POFQ.
I had ADRS at Chef Mickeys, but wanted something a little closer. The menu sounds yummy!!

Where are you staying? DH and I had breakfast at the Kona Cafe at the Polynesian the only time that we were at WDW by ourselves. It was very nice. I've also heard that Spoodles has a good breakfast.
