Cape May Character Breakfast?

We have gone a few times and enjoyed it. We're not big breakfast eaters normally, but the food was good and the characters were awesome as usual. We wouldn't hesitate to go back.

The kids and I liked it when we went for the first time in January 2008. It wa snot crowded, had fun characters that spent a good amount of time with us and lots of food options...inclufing a yogurt bar!

We will be back!

We did it almost 3 years ago and liked it. We went very late on our check-out day, the characters ran out of kids to entertain and I have very cute photos of the one on one attention my kids got when Minnie sat down at the table next to my ds and the adults got to finish the meal in peace. Cape May Cafe has my favorite dessert spread on the dinner buffet though.

We eat there every year. We usually stay at the BC or BCV so it is easy for us, but it is one of our favorite breakfasts. Very laid-back atmosphere, food is great--a big selection. It does not have omlets made to order or anything like that, but still one of our favorites. I think because it is at a resort many people don't make the effort to go there, but I think it is worth it.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but it was just ok for us. We prefer 1900 Park Fare and Ohana's over Cape May, but it was a nice change. I would definetly try it. The characters are fun and like the OP said, it does not seem as busy as some of the other meals. The food was decent. Go for it I'm sure you'll have a great time.

We've done the character breakfast there on all 3 of our trips and have been very pleased each time. As a pp mentioned, Cape May is in a resort, so I think a lot of people don't think to go there. It's never been overly crowded for us, and the food is really good. Characters come by frequently--Goofy, Minnie, Chip &/or Dale, all dressed in beach attire.

This is the best meal at WDW!! The food was great, the service was great, the interaction with the characters was great, and it wasn't crowded even in the summer!! We loved it so much we went several more times during that stay!!

We've eaten there several times and enjoy it. We usually stayed at BWV, so it was an easy walk over before hitting the parks. Great character interaction. Food was yummy - I wouldn't say it is much different than other breakfast buffets, but it is still good.

Just back from the Beach Club and we did the Cape May breakfast. It was very good and the characters were great. We really enjoyed this meal.

I think it has best variety of any breakfast buffet in WDW. The character interaction is really good as well. Goofy ended up tickling my DD5 everytime he passed our area of the restaurant, then sitting down at our table. When we went to leave the restaurant, he walked out and tried to leave the hotel with us ... :rotfl2:

We love Cape May Cafe's character breakfast! :thumbsup2 It's our traditional "last" meal @ Disney..... we aways do it the morning of departure so that it's the last Disney memory we have to hold us over til next time.... :rotfl:

We did the character breakfast there on our last trip and we thought it was the best breakfast we'd had on property, even tastier than Crystal Palace (which is still our favorite 'cuz of the Pooh characters there ;) ). The characters were great, and we'll definitely be eating there again.

We love this breakfast! Great food and adorable characters...there are a ton of pics in my April trip link

We are staying at the BC. The only ADR I was able to get was at 8:30 the morning after MNSSHP. Needless to say, with a 7 yr old and a slow moving DH, this won't work for us. I've tried to get ADR's on other days and there hasn't been any opening (there goes the not as busy theory.....). Has anyone had luck with a walk up reservation? Since we are at the resort, I am hoping one of us could go down and put our names on a list or somehow land a table for breakfast? Has anyone had any luck with this?

Unless someones cancels at the last minute or does a no-show for right around the time you walk up, I don't see this happening. I would keep checking each day for a cancellation/opening right up to the time you leave for your trip.
