Hey guys - how good is Cape May Cafe with running on time? I have a 7pm reservation there and an 8:10 reservation at Beaches and Cream for ice cream after. Can I make it? I know they are both at the Beach Club...are they really close together? I also just grabbed a 5:55pm at Cape May yesterday just in case, so I'm not sure which one I should keep. We are getting in that same day at about 11am and heading right over to AK, so I wanted to stay there until park close at 5:30.

I'm going in a few weeks but in the past, they've been pretty good. Although, with all the food there, I know I personally could not eat ice cream after AYCE anything. I would do the early ressie so you have a little room by 8:10 for ice cream personally but that's just me.

They were on time when we went.
Beaches and Cream is very close.
But....Cape May has great desserts, and AYCE should be plenty for anyone.

I've never had a problem getting in on time. But I wouldn't go out for ice cream after this meal. (or any aycte meal)

They ran 20 minutes behind for our reservation. We had 8 people. I think it depends how many people you need seating for. It probably was that larger groups may take longer for all of the party to finish together.

Thanks all - I'm going to cancel the B&C and stick with the dessert at Cape May.

Great idea! The food at CMC is wonderful! I fill up on salad, cheese, and mussels. The desserts are amazing, too. No need for B & C after :)

When we went about 3 weeks ago ( party of 4) we were seated immediately upon check-in. I love the multiple desert options at Cape May but rarely have room for any of them after crab legs !

Edited to add that we had a 645pm reservation and checked into the podium at 635pm and were seated then.

LOVE the Cape May seafood buffet. There are tons of desserts. B&C would be a lot, as others have said. To me, it would be paying for dessert twice and since Disney prices are hefty enough to begin with, I'd avoid that! However, service at Cape May is fast because it's a buffet. Depends how long you want to linger... or how many seconds you go back for!

Good call. We have been to Cape May several times and have never been seated "on time". Also, as others have said...the desserts are really good on the buffet.
