Cape May Cafe or Chef Mickeys for breakfast

When it comes time to make our ADRs for our trip in December, I want to do a character breakfast and I've narrowed it down to either Chef Mickey's or Cape May Cafe (it's just my fiancee and I going). Anyone have any recommendations as to which has the better breakfast buffet?? Thanks!!!

Without a doubt, Cape May Cafe - has a much better breakfast buffet, better food, nicer atmosphere, etc. don't know where you are coming from, but I really enjoyed taking the boat over to the beach club also....and so did my children. Hope this helps

I prefer Cape May. It defintely has better food. It is also less busy, more quiet, and the characters pay a LOT of attention to you!

thanks for the replies! when the time comes, i'm going to book cape may cafe. i can't wait!! never before have i wanted a breakfast to get here so fast!!

Cape May is awesome and we eat there on every trip. The food is always good, there is this awesome bread pudding and they offer asparagus too. The fruit is the best part and the yogurt bar...yummy!

Since the place is not that busy you get a lot of time with the characters.

Cape May has more food choices and a much more laid back atmosphere and they aren't trying to rush you to leave.

They have alot of stay who has been at Disney for over 20 yrs on their morning staff - they are the best!!

I've been to Chef Mickey's about 3 times and have always enjoyed it. We made a breakfast reservation at Cape May's purely based on location (staying at BWV) and knowing that getting a 1 year old to any place by 8:00am is near impossible.

Glad to hear it may be the better choice anyway. Looking forward to it.
