Our family will be traveling to Disney this summer. We are debating between 1900 Park Fare or Cape May for Breakfast. If you had one choice for breakfast, which choice would you make and why? Thanks for taking the time to post

We have been to both and we would choose Cape May. We did not like the food at Park Fare and won't go back for breakfast. We love Cape May and will continue to go back always a good buffet!

I haven't tried 1900, but Cape May was great and I would not hestitate to go back!

I did a review if you click on the dining report link in my sig.

Another vote for Cape May Cafe! :yay: We ate there last October and had a blast. The food is great, the service was good and the character interaction was great as well. Goofy, Minnie and Donald in resort/swim wear. Being we were two adults with no kids, they actually spent a good amount of time with us and we saw them spending alot of time with the families that did have kids. Cape May Cafe is actually quieter than other character breakfast places too.

Never been to Cape May but I wouldn't touch 1900PF again if my life depended on it. The worst meal I have ever eaten in my entire life. Can only think that the Mad Hatter and Wicked Stepmother tamper with every meal trying to give the customers food poisoning for the rest of the trip.

We have eaten at both and enjoyed both places. Both have good character interaction, but if I had to chose one I would go to Cape May (my son likes the characters there and the food selection). Both places the chacaters came to our table 2x. Have a magical trip

Another vote here for Cape May. It's a beautiful resort and the restaurant is set up very nice and cozy. The characters spend a lot of time with you since they don't have to cover so much ground. Plus the buffet is a big square so it's easy to maneuver around and not bump into others.

1900 Park Faire is nice but really big and I don't like the way the buffet is configured - a big "U" with arms on either side. But you can get ice cream at breakfast!!

For characters - you get Goofy, Minnie and Donald at Cape May and you get Pooh, Tigger, Mary Poppins, Alice and Mad Hatter at 1900 PF. That could enter into it for you - which characters would you rather see?

The food selection is large and good...The characters are so cute in their beach clothes...The atmosphere is calm for a character meal...We have been several times and have not been let down a single time...

Park Fare was okay...We did like the eggs to order but that was about it...Otherwise the food selection was small and not that good...We have boys so they did not really like the characters there...I think would have been better with girls or younger children...DH says he would not ever go back...I am not that against it but I did enjoy CM so much more!

We've been to both.

I do agree the food is better at Cape May - great selection and really good all around. We thought the characters were cute but not a "wow" in the character interaction category.

1900 - the food was OK - typical breakfast stuff. As somone else mentioned the U shape set up is less than ideal but we didn't have any problems getting to the food. We did just love the character interaction - so much fun.

We're going to go back to 1900 for breakfast on our next trip but skip Cape May (for us CM is much more fun!)

Okay....I'll be the lone dissenting vote and go with 1900 Park Fare. We've been to both and they were both very good. Been to 1900 Park Fare multiple times.

We have had great character interaction at 1900 Park Fare. The last time we were there, the Mad Hatter came around and messed with my oldest DS every time he walked by.

As for the food...I've been to just about every character breakfast on property and I really don't see a discernable difference. Now, with any restaurant and buffet....there will be slight differences... I will say that 1900 Park Fare is the only place that I have found that serves Cheese Blintzes. And they are usually excellent!
