Cape May Cafe - opinions?

I have an ADR there for dinner. How is it? What has your experience been? It doesn't seem to be one of the more popular restaurants?? How long to get there from Saratoga Springs?

Im not sure how long it would take to get there from SSR by bus, but I have driven from BC to DTD in about 10 minutes. Cape Maye has great character interaction. My kids loved it, but my DD loves Minnie. I thought the food was good too. My favorite for food is the Crystal Palace, but Cape Maye was a fun experience.

I think breakfast is the character meal right? Dinner is just a clam bake with no characters. Is that right?

We liked Cape May and are going back in Oct. There are many food items other than seafood and desserts are good. It is your typical buffet (there are no characters at the dinner).

Probably takes 15-20 min to drive there and park if that is what you are doing. Taking a bus would be longer. Maybe walk over to Downtown and take a bus to Beach Club. I would guess 30-40 min depending on the luck of the bus timing.

That's right. Breakfast has characters and they circulate very well. Dinner is a clam bake. We loved it!!! Im a really picky fish eater and I loved the clam bake. If you dont eat shell fish, they do have some fresh fish dishes to choose from. When we went it was fried tilapia...Very good!!! The ribs were great and they also had marinated roasted chicken...Very good and tender. I have some pics and as soon as I can get them up, I will post them.
