Hi - I've just been on the phone to Disney dining, desperately trying to book a character breakfast for a friend who is travelling next week!!:rolleyes1

As I expected there was little choice - and out of a 14 day vacation, I could only book her a breakfast at Cape May cafe for 10am on her last morning.

(She had wanted Chef Mickey, but when I questioned her further she is keen on seeing Goofy - so I guess Cape May cafe might be ok??):confused3

PLease can you tell me if I've done the right thing - I know I couldn't get anything else, but I have never been to CMC and feel kind of responsible - especially if it's not a good choice for her last morning in the World??

What do you think - did I do good??;) :goodvibes

We ate there last summer and are doing it again this summer....good food...great interation...the characters must have come to our table 3 times each in less than 40 minutes....right beside Epcot....it's great

It is very good, a must do on all of our trips. I have a ton of pics and review from our April trip in my signature

I've never been there, but have read very good reviews about it, and I believe Goofy is there.

We did this on our last trip and it was my DH's favorite TS meal. He enjoyed it so much it was his only request to do again on our upcoming trip. The food is very good and characters were very sweet. Our 2 yr old had been terrified of the characters at our other meals, but Minnie spent extra time with her and was very gentle. She loved all the character interaction after this meal.

We've eaten there several times and Goofy was always there.

Actually Cape May Buffet is one of our favorite breakfasts! It's a great buffet - they even have asparagus! It's so cute to see the characters in the old fashioned bathing suits.

Some of the other restaurants that are usually available for last minute ADRs are: Garden Grille, Captain's Grille (formerly Yacht Club Galley), Grand Floridian Cafe and the Plaza at MK. Hope this helps!

We haven't eaten at Cape May, but we also reserved it for our last morning for the upcoming trip (we usually do Chef Mickey's but wanted to try something new!). I have read all great things about this breakfast! I'm sure they will love it!

We love this place. It's a really slow paced breakfast and the characters are wonderful. It's always a toss up for us between this the Lilo and Stitch one. Your friend will love it. :)

The character interaction makes this place. The breakfast is a rather ho-hum buffett, standard fare. That being said, it sounds like a perfect way to start either your EPCOT or Hollywood Studios day. Enjoy.
