Cape May Breakfast before Magical Express departure?

We do it on our check out day every time. It's the perfect end to the trip and it beats using park time.

Totally do-able, but let the server know that you need the check and want to square up quickly.

Sometimes, I think the wait staff is concerned about you feeling like they're rushing you, but meanwhile, they're not moving fast enough to suit your schedule.

I have read many reports over the years from guests who felt rushed at Disney's restaurants. That has not been something I've experienced, even one time as I recall. Just the opposite...I've sat there waiting to pay and got hung up almost as long to settle the check as it took to eat the meal.

We did the Cape May café character breakfast on our last morning there, yes it's totally do able! As the poster above said I would let your server know that you have to get to magical express in front of the hotel by 11:00. I would keep the 8AM ressie time. But check your luggage in with magical express in front of the hotel before you have breakfast. I think I pretty much asked for the check midway through our meal - but still enjoyed a leisurely breakfast.

In terms of the Magical Express, you will get a letter in your hotel room the day before you check out. It will tell you what time to be in front of the hotel for your Magical Express bus. The letter will have a barcode which the Magical Express bus driver scans. No, I have never seen the buses more than half-full on any trip home. The time to be in front of your hotel is always 3 hours prior to flight time. Once we were there a half hour early and just took the earlier magical express bus, the driver said it was no problem.

If I already provided my flight info to Disney and have a time, although I assume I need to confirm when we are there. Is there anything else I need to do to have a reservation?

You don't have to do anything. I'm not sure what the PP was talking about. As others have said, you'll get a "letter" the night before you check out with all your information. You don't have to reconfirm or anything. They know to expect you and they will have room for you. However, they will not come looking for you or wait for you if you're not there. They assume we're all adults and responsible for getting ourselves to the bus on time.
