I am considering adding another character breakfast. I already have Chef Mickey for the kids, and I wanted to know what people thought about these three - Cape May, 1900 Park Fare, and Ohana. I know at the very highest level what they are (as in: the Mary Poppins one, the Lilo and Stitch one), but I don't know anything else about them. Are they good experiences, good food, worth the effort? Which would you recommend if I were choosing just one?

We have been to them all...The only one that will not return to is 1900...Characters were not a good fit for our kids and the food selection is much smaller than the others...And the buffet is set up in a strange way...It just wasnt for us...

DH and I love Cape May because the selection of food is very large, the characters look adorable in their beach clothing- characters are usually Minnie, Donald and Goofy , and the atmosphere is very calm for a character meal....It is a good breakfast before spending a day at Ecpot...

Ohana is really nice with the view of the castle...They serve you, which is a great change for the buffets...It is all you can eat....Mickey waffles, bacon, scrambled eggs, sausage....Really yummy pineapple bread served at the start...Characters are cute- Mickey, Pluto, Lilo and Stitch are there most often...Great before a day at the MK!

We had the breakfast buffet at Cape May last year. It was a very good selection and good quality. The characters came around twice and the interaction was not hurried. Minnie, Donald & Goofy in their "beachwear".

We also went to O'Hana. Loved the fact that the food was brought to the table, though there were fewer selections offered. They serve a special juice that was good, but you could get any beverage you asked for. Good character interaction there as well. Lilo, Stitch, Micky and Pluto, I think. They also had a parade around the restaurant. Service was a little slow.

Booked Park Fare this year, basically because we can't find the Mad Hatter anywhere, so we figured this was a good way to kill two birds with one stone. Haven't heard very good reviews, but it is really difficult to screw up breakfast!

We have been to all 3 and thought 1900 Park Fare was just ok, but we love Cape May and Ohana :). Choosing between those 2 would be hard as they are both great. But if I couldn't do both and had to choose between them, I would probably choose Cape May. The buffet has alot of variety and the characters are cute all dressed up in their beach clothes :goodvibes.

The Mad Hatter is cool and even Alice...It is nice to have live, talking characters...

And I agree it is hard to mess up breakfast...It wasn't bad...It just wasn't impressive in any way...The selection was very small...DH was excited about the egg station but that moved really slow (and we got there very early) and the buffet set up made waiting for the eggs uncomfortable...Just be prepared...Have fun!

But trust me, speaking from experience, its not difficult to screw up breakfast. My worst breakfast was at Chef Mickeys. Nothing was warm, it was all lukewarm. And i personally wasnt impressed with the selection either. Before going in, I also thought "its hard to screw up breakfast", but they somehow managed to!

I would recommend either Cape May or Ohana. Cape May has a larger selection....Ohana is family style all you can eat. VERY YUMMY btw. Esp the bread & juice. Love the decore and characters. Cape May isnt as loud as most buffets. Its quieter. If you want more selection, i'd go with Cape May. How can you resist the characters in beach wear!??! Lol. Cute. :)

I have never been to Park Fare, but have been to Ohana twice and Cape May just this last visit. I think Cape May is our favorite...there was a big variety of food and the character interaction was awesome...we were able to see the characters twice and never once felt rushed. Ohana is also a fun one...they bring the food to your table and the juice is so nummy! The character interaction is great and Stitch is hilarious. My girls really like the parade to "Hawaiian Rollercoaster Ride" the kids get maracas (sp) and walk around the restaurant.

4th option...Crystal Palace before rope drop

I don't get the 1900 Park Fare haters though :) We went to MK for rope drop, rode a few things, grabbed a few fastpasses and took the monorail to GF (leave plenty of time for this, but my DS treated it like another ride). The juice, strawberry soup, REAL bacon, carved ham, omelette station make really good brunch food.

I have not been to Cape May or Ohana, but unless your kids love Lilo and Stitch, I don't see the point of seeing Mickey and the gang again (since you are already doing Chef Mickey's)
