Sorry -- not sure where to post this as I am trying to grab those that might do this as a pre or post cruise day trip. I would greatly appreciate hotel recommendations from anyone who has stayed overnight in the general area. I'm overwhelmed by all the offerings in Cape Canaveral, Titusville and Cocoa Beach. Thanks.

We always use the Courtyard Marriott in Cocoa Beach. It isn't beachfront and it is a few miles from the port but it has beach access and is clean and comfortable.

We're going to KSC after our cruise, but we are staying the night at Disney World to take advantage of the Magical Express for our flights home. Plus we booked an EPCOT firework cruise that same night. We figure we will be pretty much done with KSC about dinner time, and we need to be at the Yacht Club just before 9, so we might as well.

Our situation might be different since we are flying out the next afternoon, but I wanted to let you know what we ultimately chose since we were trying to decide what to do about the same issue.

We’ve said all over but our new favorite is the Radisson at the Port. Awesome pool and outdoor bar, decent food, and they offer very inexpensive airport to hotel and port transportation

We have stayed at Hampton Inn Cocoa Beach and were very pleased. Free breakfast and access to the beach. It was clean and comfortable

We've stayed here as well and really enjoyed it. Staying there again in a few weeks!

I have stayed at the Country Inn and Suites 5 times and I'm booked there again for next year.

We like it because of the convenient location, the rooms are comfortable, and the included breakfast is good. The pool is nice too.

We have stayed in a bunch of places in Cocoa Beach. Our favorite is the Residence Inn. Friendly, clean, breakfast. Second is the Hampton Inn. Walk way to the beach. Easy walk to Ron Jons!

Thanks all so much. Unfortunately, we won't have any beach time this trip -- it's an intense 35 day road trip and our stop at KSC is for the day and then that night we have to reach Yulee to get past Jacksonville -- which is having a huge air show that weekend. I certainly don't want to get stuck in THAT traffic LOL

I will look into the hotels recommended. I think Coca Beach is only a few miles away and might be our best bet. Also checking a couple in Cape Canaveral area. Thanks again

Same here. We will be checking in on 8/4 one day prior to our 8/5 Disney Dream cruise. It's our tradition! We usually lounge on the beach and pool most of the day and then walk to Ron Jon's surf shop and some of the other shops along the strip there.

We usually stay at the Country Inn & Suites since it's so close to the port. Tried the Radisson once, but had a very un-family friendly experience and probably won't go back. The pool area is really nice, though!
