Capacity Question

We're going to WDW 4/23-4/28. Our plan is to go to MK on Monday, 4/24 (we want to attend the evening parade....our son's h.s. band playing). I heard MK can get very crowded on Mondays and there is a chance it will be at capacity. We are staying at BCV. I'm thinking we may go the park for a while in the afternoon and go to Kona for dinner and then back to MK for the parade. My questions are: Will resort guests still be allowed in if the park is at capactiy? What are the chances it will be crowded enough that they would close the doors?

Don't worry. The parks usually only reach capacity on and around holidays. Most likely it will not close while you are there. That said resort guests are guaranteed admission to A Disney Park, but not necessarily the park of your choice. In other words MK may reach capacity and you may not be able to get in. But they do guarantee that all resort guests will be able to enter 1 of the 4 parks.
