Cap n Jacks- Yes or No?

We've officially planned one more table service than we have credit for. We can pay out of pocket for Chef Mickey's for breakfast if Cap N Jack's is really worth it. Do you recommend Cap N Jack's at downtown Disney or should we cancel and just use a fast service for our dinner?

I thought it was good when they had the twin-lobster tails on the menu, but they no longer have that. I did not see anything else on the menu that really seemed worth it. I would have to say, in my opinion, it is no longer worth it.

Oh no! No more lobster tails?! We really like them last summer. (All five of us just got the lobster tails! ) Oh well, we weren't planning on going there this time anyway.

Sounds like the OP already jumped... but for everyone else's benefit.... Captain Jack's isn't really worth it. We had a nice quiet meal here, but nothing special - Red Lobster is better. With so many awesome dining choices - even at DTD, it seems like a waste to go to Capn' Jack's. Maybe seafood junkies will like it, but it just seemed ho-hum.

Our Cap N Jacks experience was good one. Our only choice for TS in DTD while on the DXDP.
I loved our food. It was just what I needed...

Spinach & Artichoke Dip served with tortilla chips $7.49
Shrimp and Penne Pasta - in a creamy crustacean sauce $18.99 (substituted alfredo sauce)
Key Lime Pie - $5.49

This was comfort food for me. - it seemed after all our "unusual" food experiences the days prior, this really hit the spot.

Would I use this as a TS if I was on the Basic DP - NO,
DXDP -I'd go back and I might even pay OOP for that penne pasta again!
