I can't seem to find a full menu for this restaurant in any of the menu databases. Any help? And while I'm here, how do you feel about this restaurant? The only Mexican restaurants we are used to is Chi Chi's. Worse, Same, Better?

The Cantina is an outside counter service restaurant that serves Tacos, burritos, etc. We had tacos that were ok, nothing special.

Thanks but I realized my problem. I meant the INSIDE restaurant. I had even called and made a PS asking for Cantina then I realized I was wrong and called back. They knew what I meant and they said that they don't do PS for the outside. I am glad they understood me. Once I figured it out I found the menu. Thanks anyway.

We ate there last year and it was very good. I got what amounted to Mexican Spaghetti with Shrimp. I cannot remember the name of it but it was delicious. DS got the mexican plate which was standard mexican food and was very good. I think DH got a steak. I do remember the margaritas were very good. The atmosphere is unbeatable. Ask for a table near the edge of the "cliff". We had PS and of course the buses were running late. We were about 20 minutes late but got seated pretty quickly and right in the middle on the edge of the "cliff". You can see the volcano and the pyramid as well as the boats on the river down below.

They have the most awesome chips!!!!!

I thought the food was pretty good. I had nachos, cant remember what my husband had but he also liked it. I love the atmosphere and will be returning on our next trip!

We have eaten here four times and have always found the food to be wonderful.

As we live in Scotland I can't comment on the other restaurants that you mentioned.

Hope you have a wonderful time.

It is far better than Chi-Chi's, not as good as Rio Bravo (in my opinion). The long and short is that you can certainly get better Mexican food - but you can also most certainly get worse. That having been said - I like it! The atmosphere is really neat. Try the Queso dip with chorizzo - it comes with tortillias and of course chips and salsa. Since I am the only big fan of Mexican in my family - I can generally beg and pout my way into a visit each time we are at WDW. Sometimes we only order appetizers and cervazas. I haven't eaten anything that I didn't like there. If you want quick - you can try the cantina outside - the food is good there as well. Enjoy!

We dined here last week, and the food was very good. DH had queso fundido (he wasn't that hungry) and I had the combo plate (burrito, enchilada, etc). The chips and salsa were excellent.

I ate there once. NEVER AGAIN!! We had the worst food we've eaten in all of our trips to WDW. It was like cardboard. It was so bad that none of us could eat it, including DS who will eat anything. On top of that our server took the order and we never saw him again. We didn't get refills on drinks, and I had to ahve a hostess find our check. This was 45 minutes after we were served. No one ever checked back with us. W e should ahve simply walked out. It was the first time I have ever stiffed a server at WDW. In hindsight I should ahve spoken to a manager and had the entire meal comped.

And yes, we go out for traditional Mexican here at home, so that wasn't the problem.

Wow ducklite! I thought I was the only one who had a horrible experience there. The food was bad and the service was worse! We would never eat there again. The food at the Cantina, outside, is better though not great.
