Well - here I sit in my Niue Poly room writing this post. We did arrived here at the Poly at 8:45 this morning and when I went to check in,I was told that our room was available - At 9AM in the MORNING!!!!!
Anyway - we requested Figi and were told that would not be available until later in the week (I'm not one to move). He then told me the only thing that was available was in Rapa Nui facing the parking lot
. Amazing though, after he saw the look on my face - he found a WONDERFUL room in Niue. We are directly across from Captain Cooks, facing the Volcano pool and the fountain and only steps away from the GCH. How nice it is not to have to walk far. We are on the second floor, but the sliding glass door is really nice to be able to stand and look out.
We did MK for a while, I got a great photo with Chip and Dale. They saw how excited "I" was to see them, that they jumped around and made a big fuss. Then we headed over to MGM for dinner at Hollywood and Vine and preferred seating for Fantasmic. (LOVE that show!!!)
It is very chilly at night, but during the day it was absolutely beautiful.
One thing though.... we went down to the beach for the Electric Water Pagent and heard that the fireworks at the
MVMCP would be starting at 9:15, well they had problems with the fireworks and had to cancel (or at least postpone). So here I am, getting ready to settle in - tomorrow is breakfast at Kona Cafe and Animal Kingdom, followed by dinner at Alfredos Candlelight Processional Dinner package.
