Now that we're home, we are missing Disneyland so much!! We arrived home late on Sunday night, and each morning we wake up with this feeling of, well, it's not quite sadness, but kind of a loneliness!!!

I am very busy getting back into my routine, and getting my kids back on their schedules as well, but when things calm down, I'll be putting together a trip report. However, there is one experience I cannot wait to share.

On our first day in the park, we were getting ready to ride Indiana Jones. We all love to ride this, it is one of my mother's favorites. We take her in the exit since she is in a wheelchair, then the chair waits for us while we ride. We decided to leave our large backpack in the chair, so last minute I quickly grabbed my wallet out of the bag and put it in my DS's belt bag for the ride, since that would go in the sack in front of us. We rode, excited as always, and had a great time. We gathered all of our belongings, including the belt bag, and carried on with our day.

Later that morning, we left DL and headed to DCA to watch Aladdin. As we arrived at the California sign, I realized that my son was no longer wearing his bag!!! Our whole group was taken aback, my son and I were very upset. I was already doing the math, trying to figure out how much I could pull out of my account to replace his hard earned spending money, when I remembered my wallet!!! I had completely forgot to put it back in the backpack after Indie!!! Now I was really upset, almost hysterical...and this is all on our first day!!! I retraced our steps, and we realized that my DS must have left the bag in the bathroom on Main St, behind the Carnation Cafe. My DH rushed back to DL, raced to the bathroom and called me a few minutes later, very upset because the bag wasn't there. I told him to find a CM and get advice, which he did. He was directed to lost and found, but I have to tell you, no one in our group thought for a moment that it would be found. I mean, it had all of my DS money and Disney dollars, plus my wallet...we were sure that this was going to have a very bad end. But when my husband arrived at the L&F, they actually had the bag, and nothing had been removed!!!

Some Disney angel took the time out of their trip to return that bag, which as far as I am concerned saved our trip not only financially, but also in a kind of spiritual sense...it confirmed for all of us what a magical land we were in...can anyone think of any place else on earth where there would be a remote chance of such a kind deed working out? We were so pleased, and so touched. I can't help but hope that it was a DIS'r so I can reach out and say thanks.

I will get you guys a full trip report ASAP. It was a wonderful trip, and I am so excited to share it.

It's nice to know that there are still honest people left in this world!!! How much money did you have in that wallet?
