Can't Wait to Go is Soon To Be Gone= PTR of Our September Trip

Be sure to have the video camera ready when she gets to meet her favorite Princess. I think that was the highlight of our 2007 trip was when Ally first saw Cinderella before eating dinner in the Castle. She was wearing her Cinderella dress, and her face lit up like a lightbulb when Cinderella walked into the room. Priceless.

I think I would want to kill someone if my stroller was stolen. We were lucky in 07 I guess. I think that sort of thing tends to happen more in the summertime when the parks are more crowded though.

I can't believe they are out of dining packages so quickly, or maybe I just got lucky when I got mine. We didn't see the show last time, so we figured we would this time since I don't know when we will be going back. Diane said if we are going to put out this kind of money she wants to go to Italy, and well, that's hard to argue against.

I ordered my stroller today from Orlandostroller.
I did a lot of research on the strollers and this is the only company that has strollers that holdup to 75 pounds. (how do people rent strollers for kids that are 7 and 8 years old?)
another thing I liked about this stroller is the handle can be adjusted so the taller people can use it without bending over while pushing that thing uphill.

Anyhow- the total of the rental for the stroller was 107.00 from Saturday Sept 18 thru Sunday Sept 26. (it costs more to rent from Sunday to Sunday.

I dont think Jada will need it most of the days as excitement will be her driving force. I DO think we will need it for our MNSSHP and doing Epcot World Showcase the next day--- LOTS of walking.

I will not be using the stroller when we go see Fantasmic on Thursday night. As I think it will be easier to do the crowds without a stroller.

We saw Fantasmic in 2001 back when Fantasmic was every night (well I should say we tried 4 different nights. If lightening is about the show gets cancelled--one night we saw it half way--then they canceled it because of lightening. It was a very nice show but one that I dont know if truly worth it for the hassle seeing it now. I do have it penciled in for Thursday.

I think you'll be happy to have a stroller. We did some walking yesterday and after a few hours my 4 year old told me her legs "were on fire". I can only imagine how tired they'll be after a week. Plus, it's nice to have a place where you can throw your things!

the reason I have 160 pages-- one side is for a character and the top is for the photo of Jada WITH the character signing.

I was very impressed with how PopPops book turned out.

He made her a personalized Epcot book--which he sells on EBay.
He made her a Dining book with all those charaters.
And a journal which she will tell her story each night before we go to bed.
We got her disposable cameras so the pics she takes will fit in on the journal pages. We been practicing with my digital camera looking through the view finder-- she has been doing very well.

Makes sense! I did photobooks for the autograph books and now I'm just making activity books/trip journals. I'll make a photobook of the trip afterwards. My older 2 have digital cameras (the 6 year old has a "real" digital camera and my 4 year old has a kiddie version of a digital camera).

Just looking over your trip summary, you will need the stroler. It will be hot its usally over 90 during the day and its humid, the heat will wear the kids down. Its a good thing having park hoppers we go one park during the day then go to the park we have ADR. Good luck with all your plans and have a great time

Mary- I am more worried about the heat wearing me down---
I do not do well in the heat- It does not help that I do not sweat so my body does not have that natural cooling system.

I did rent a stroller for Jada- Used orlando stroller to get one that holds up to 70 pounds. (I do not know how people put 8 year olds in stollers as those kids gotta be over the weight limits.)

I am trying to do my parks where we are out of them before 2pm every day.
Trying to get swimming in and naps.

I gotta go find out when pools close at the resort each night.
PopPop joe thinks that taking Jada swimming at midnight when we arrive--giving us time to unpack and get situated without her under foot may be a good idea.

got a few things to place in the room at night while Jada sleeps. Once night will place the Princess and the Frog playset in the bathroom on the back of the toilet. and wait and see what she says when she goes to the potty that morning.

I also go a cinderella wand that lights up and makes noise (arghhh) which will be placed on Satuday morning for her BBB appointment at noon.

so when Jada sees those she will want one-- i will send joe to the back and he will come back with the stitch light.

Good idea with the light thing. I am going to be picking up some of those glowing necklace things. The kids always want to buy them when they see them, so having them on hand will be a big help. Now I have to by the spinning lights thing.

Now with 2 girls do they have to be the same or do you get different ones.

Joe is making letters for Jada to go with the presents..
Like on Monday morning she will get a letter from pooh thanking her for stopping by and having lunch with him and his friends.

I may have to create some Mickey Mail for when we get closer to the trip. I downloaded some Disney fonts I can use to create stuff that will look authentic.

I started my own PTR today. I spent some time putting an outline together of what I want to cover in future trip related posts.

Putting "stuff" down in print makes it easier to see if it truly is doable.

I am done putting the touches in on my first Sunday.

Since we are arriving very late on Saturday (11:15 is when the flight lands)
We will not be making rope drop but everyone insists that Jada will be super excited and will not be sleeping late. So we figure we will get to the Pop Bus by 10am.
I am doing a grocer order and ordering in cereal/milk/breakfast food so we can eat on the go.

I subscribe to touring plans. and they have an app called Lines. I am on that pp every morning for an hour to see how it works.

If it all goes well- I can get three different FPs before our 2:15 reservation at Crystal Palace.

Splash mountain when we arrive. Big Thunder railroad when the time comes up for Splash- within that hour. and then Jungle cruise before we hit Crystal Palace. This will allow us to have three rides right after lunch with no waiting.

My goal is to do Adventureland and Frontierland this day and get it done. I worked in where we do a ride, then in airconditioning (LOL)

I booked this trip on August 10, 2009. Been making monthly payments.
Made final payment yesterday---7/30/10.

I have our MNSSHP money in an envelope and read that military gets a discount if you buy the tickets the day of the party (40.00per adult- which is like a 15.00 pp savings---with 7 of us that is a nice piece of change)

Waiting to buy the tickets also allows us to see what the weather will be like. If it is supposed to rain-- we will do something else.
