Just a heads up. We tried to visit the boardwalk in our car tonight. The only way to gain access is with a dinner reservation or $25 valet charge. The overflow lot is closed off to day guests, so plan accordingly.

That happens during busy times frequently. Their lots are just too small for the resort size. They often send you do DS or HS instead. Makes the travel time rough

Not shocked. Spring break plus Food and Wine Festival. Leads to big crowds and people wanting to park there to visit Epcot so they have to get super strict. I have seen them deny anyone but those staying there before during Food and Wine. Not even valet was offered (overheard them telling the taxi driver as I guess they knew each other lol).

Glad you are getting positive responses. I offer this as caution every time someone says they are going to pop by with no reservation and often have been told Disney won't force charge or turn you away even though they clearly will.
