Can't stay out of Florida Emergency Rooms

Some of you may remember that I had to go to the emergency room in Orlando on the first day of my December trip to WDW. I did get to have dinner at Boma the night I arrived but the next morning I had pains in my side and went to ER. I had an emergency appendectomy at 10 pm that night and spent the rest of my vacation in my room

So I carefully planned a replacement trip for the end of January. A friend invited me to spend a few days with her in West Palm Beach before I was to head over to WDW on Wednesday (tomorrow). Yesterday afternoon I slipped on some water and landed face down on my chin - very, very hard on a tile floor.

Blood everywhere and I felt like my brains had been scrambled. So yet another trip to ER - the hospital was literally next door. I feel like I have been beaten head to toe. When I went to the drug store to get my prescriptions the pharmacist took one look at my blood drenched body and said "What happened to you?"

So I am still going to WDW tomorrow - AKL but I doubt if I will be able to ride any but the tamest rides. I can't believe this has happened again!!

Seriously though I am SO LUCKY that I do not have any broken bones or teeth knocked out. My neck hurts pretty bad when I am not taking meds but I think I'm going to be ok.

Oh no! Poor thing, that sounds very painful! I think that staying at the AKL will work out well if you need to spend extra time in your room--it's very entertaining to watch the animals from your balcony. I'm sending gentle hugs your way too.

By the way, how did you get to meet the President? How cool!
