Cant stay at a Deluxe for new years so what MOD?

Hey everyone, I had a cruise planned for last week of August, however I have decided to return to school to become an RN and classes start while would be cruising so I am changing it to Christmas week - double the price!!!! But 2 stops at Castaway!!!
We always stay at WDW for a few days either before or after our cruise. This time it will be after, I refuse to stay at a value again, so I am thinking a MOD. It will be 2 adults (one in a ECV (me)) and an 11 year old. I looking for fun things to do on New years because will will not be in the parks, Dec 28-Jan3

Yes, but the cost it a bit less, oddly the HA room at POR is bit bigger <3

I picked WL over the mods because the theming is so awesome, and even if the room is a little on the small side, the resort is contained in one building rather than spread way out. I greatly prefer interior corridor hotels to outside opening doors. Also you have a chance at fireworks view.

love Port Orleans French Quarter. We travel with an ECV and there's no problem fitting it in the room. The buses there are great and we never had to wait because there were too many ECVs to fit on the bus.
